Well done to Tom Mohan, his support staff and all the players on this magnificent performance.”
Minister Griffin said: “I would like to congratulate the Republic of Ireland U19 soccer team on their valiant effort at the 2019 U19 European Championships, going out to the reigning champions Portugal in the semi-finals. This was a great achievement considering that the team was missing so many of its regular players. I am sure all of the players will have enjoyed and learnt so much from this wonderful experience.
